Amazing
Tonight was our churches Wednesday night service "Celebration" and tonight we were all preped for this weekends Questaplooza A party for our city. We are expecting 6000 people to attend.
Here is the current schedule

It was amazing after the indoor service we all were asked to go out to the field where Questapalooza is being held. The main stage was set up and several prayers for travel, inviting, leading were prayed. Pete our pastor asked for everyone who was at last years Questapalooza to raise their hands, and then for those that this will be their first. So amazing the hands were 50 / 50. I feel so privileged to be a part of something so important to our city, bringing Gods word to the masses and showing and sharing with them what being whole hearted followers in Jesus is like
Those that are fellow Followers please pray for us and for all that attend. Those that are Seekers please come and experience the love of God and the thrill of community.

Mid Week
Gavin has had a ear infection and the antibiotics had not been working. He and I stayed up all last night he was fussy and running a fever. I took the day off and went to the Dr. Gavin had to get a shot and a new Rx. He has been a little less fussy today and has not had the fever, so that is good. Depending on how Gavin does tonight I may or may not go into work tomorrow.

This Week
Several things to blog about.
Got to ichat with Roger and my friend Kevin VanHook and his family. I had a great time catching up. We hope to try and stay caught up better than we have been.
With the Moderate Drought in Kentucky The Chief and I are thinking of not having a community fireworks show this 4th of July. Chief and I are thinking that waiting until later in the year if at all to have the show. (Chief will be presenting our idea this Monday at the Commission meeting.
Our washing machine got over loaded and I at first thought that the gear box was shot. With that type of repair costing about $250.00. With the machine being 9 or 10 years old I didn't want to put that kind of monies in it. So I went to a appliance repair shop in Danville and asked their opinion. Straight away the guy said that what I described was not the gear box but was the motor coupling, a $14.00 part.
So I got the part from the guy and fixed the machine this afternoon. Tada!

Stumble Fun
An engineer was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn into a beautiful princess.
He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket. The frog spoke up again and said, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week."
The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket.
The frog then cried out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I'll stay with you and do ANYTHING you want."
Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back into his pocket.
Finally, the frog asked, "What is the matter? I've told you I'm a beautiful princess, that I'll stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won't you kiss me?"
The engineer said, "Look I'm an engineer. I don't have time for a girlfriend, but a talking frog, now that's cool."

glass is half empty. To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Must Listen to
For all husbands and husbands to be :
The sermon from today "What God Say's About Sports Center" is a MUST to listen to. This message is about being a loving caring understanding husband and is a a powerful and energizing sermon. It made me sit up and listen and realize how wonderful God is and how happy I have become with him in my life.
God also gave to me Stephanie, a beautiful caring and wonderful woman to be my wife. I thank God every day for my new life and for all that he has done for me and my family. So all that read this please take the time to listen to this message.
